In 1996, Paliani graduated from Shota Rustaveli Theater and Film State University of Georgia, majoring in drama and film acting. Since 1997, he worked in Tbilisi’s Basement Theater and Nodar Dumbadze Professional State Youth Theater. In 2010-2017, Gegi worked as Director of Leo Pilpani Public and Folk Theater NNLE, subsequently serving as Director of the Mestia Municipality Center of Culture and Arts NNLE since 2018.
